Welcome to Sgt Pleiku's Award Program . We offer 3 awards. One is the Patriotic Spirit Award which is awarded to websites with a Patriotic theme. These websites can be personal pages of Veterans or their families, Veterans Organizations, or others who promote a positive attitude towards America and rememberance of the sacrifices made in her defence.
The other award is the Number 1 Website Award for graphic and design excellence, As any Viet Nam Veteran will tell you Number 1 is the best, the top of the heap. Websites that win the Number 1 will be visually exciting and will touch my soul.
A very special award is Sgt Pleiku's Dragon Hug Award This award is for those very special websites which help people battle and survive the Dragons in their lives, such as Cancer, Hepatitus C,ALS, HIV/AIDS, and Diabetes.
Websites can either win one or all of these awards depending on their content. Before filling out an application please spend a few minutes to read the criteria,purpose, disqualifiers, and scoring pages. All applicants will receive an emailed score sheet with your award results, wthin 30 days of the application. The award graphic, if earned, will be attached. Please understand that this is not a give away award program, so not every one will win. You are more than welcome to re-apply after 60 days.
